We asked the breeders at Bulletproof Genetics a few interesting questions regarding their business, techniques and philosophy. We hope this gives you some insight to what motivates them to continue to produce quality products…
1.In a few sentences, can you tell us where and when you got your start?
In 2008, Eddie’s back was injured. Medical marijuana started in Michigan around this time. A friend suggested he start growing for pain management.
2.What was the first strain you ever grew?
The first strain Eddie grew was OG18.
3.What strains are you most known for?
The strains Bulletproof is most known for are

4.When it comes to strain names, do you think it’s best to use a name with the parent plants in mind or generate a new one in terms of taste and high?
Eddie likes to make sure he gives credit to the grower, but a little bit of both.
5.What motivates you as breeder and grower?
Eddie loves to be creative and growing gives him the ability to do so. He also wants to find strains to help people with mental or physical ailments while growing his company and his brand.
6.When you approach a new breeding project, what are the Top 3 things you are looking for?
Structure, dense buds, low maintenance, medium to heavy yield with an 8-9 weeks flower window. Eddie wants boutique that meets commercial. Bulletproof genetics enough said. More than 3 things haha!
7.Do you have any special projects in the works you would be willing to share with us?
Eddie is Doing a collaboration with another Michigan Breeder. Seeds will be released summer 2020!
